To help answer any questions you may have, we have listed below our wedding terms, which makes it clear what full services we can provide to enable us to make your day special.
Price
All prices quoted are inclusive of vat at standard rate. All quoted prices remain fixed once your booking deposit is received. A non-refundable booking deposit of £50.00 secures your date with The Flower Shop, which will deducted from your final balance. Any amendments made to your style and/or flower selection may change your quoted prices. You will receive a confirmation receipt acknowledging our receipt of your booking deposit of £50.00.
Final payment is due 7 days prior to the date of your wedding. If arrangements have been agreed with The Flower Shop for payment to be made after the 7 days prior to your wedding date, we reserve the right to refuse payment by cheque. This is due to insufficient time for clearance.
Contact
We are very proud to have a strong team of florists. Due to each florists individual experience we can ensure that from your 1st consultation through to your wedding day you will continue to have a central point of contact. Your florist will manage your wedding on your special day ensuring that your flowers are displayed and delivered as per your instructions and will contact your venue co-ordinator and relevant persons to co-ordinate your special day.
Delivery
The Flower Shop will make 2 deliveries to your chosen location within Wolverhampton. For additional deliveries/drop-offs a £5.00 charge will apply per extra address. For deliveries outside of our standard area additional charges may be applicable.
We can accommodate the added service of returning to your church and moving your church flowers onto your venue. Prices start from £25.00 for this service. Your flowers will be delivered presented in modern gift packaging techniques. This will ease distribution within your family.
Your order
A final order and delivery schedule will be issued prior to your wedding. This is confirming your order, final quantities and any instructions you have made as to the destination and time parameters for each delivery. We require that you check this carefully as this forms part of the worksheet for your day. Advise all the relevant members of your family of the times that we have arranged for the delivery of your flowers to each respective address.
In the unlikely event that we are unable to obtain a specific item/flower we reserve the right to replace the item to an equal or greater value at no extra cost to the order.
Products on a hire basis
The use of our products on a hire basis to enhance your wedding day requires that a £50.00 deposit will be held prior to the wedding day. This will be returned immediately upon the safe return of our products by you.
Should you require The Flower Shop to collect the items made on hire at your venue, arrangements must be made prior to your wedding day and an additional charge will be made.
Sunday weddings
However much we are reluctant to, we have different prices for Sunday weddings. An additional charge of 35% of the total cost of your wedding will be added to the final cost to cover additional labour costs and overheads. This additional charge will be clearly identified on your final order. Normal trading days is Monday to Saturday so to fulfil Sunday weddings requires extra resources above the normal. This additional charge will be clearly identified on your final order. To eliminate this additional charge we can accommodate Sunday weddings by the delivery/collection of your flowers on Saturday afternoon. This will require storage in a cool area of which we can give you guidance.
Preservation of your flowers
Being such a specialised area we can co-ordinate with our recommended flower preservation company (Precious Petals), the preservation of your flowers as a visual reminder of your special day. Details and prices are available upon request.
Cancellations/Change of your wedding date
In the unlikely event that you have changed you wedding date, deposits will be transferred to your amended date. For cancelled dates no refund of the booking deposit will be made. If cancelled by 14 days prior to your wedding date any additional payments you have made will be refunded.
